Stop & Shop, incorporated as Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and more commonly known as just Stop & Shop, is an American supermarket chain owned by the Dutch company Ahold Delhaize after it acquired Tops Markets in 2015; it is the largest supermarket chain in the East Coast of the United States, with locations from Connecticut to Maine and New York to Massachusetts.

Updates

The latest updates to the Stop & Shop app include integrated home delivery pickup and in-store shopping features.

The app also includes location-based capabilities, allowing users to Check In when they enter a Stop & Shop. As one of several steps in furthering its mobile reach, in early 2014, Stop & Shop launched a native iPhone app to help customers keep up with weekly store events and promotions.

CONS

● The app sometimes takes up to a week to redeem your points

● You can't earn points on any items that are on sale

● Coupons expire after three days, but you can't save coupons offline for later use. You need to remember to use the coupon before it expires, or else you will lose the discount and not be able to get the same product at a lower price.

How to use it?

The Stop & Shop app is available for both Android and iPhone, making it easy to shop from anywhere.   Just download the latest version from Google Play or the Apple App Store and log in with your Stop & Shop customer number (or new account) to use the app.

From there, you can browse through all our items in stock at any of our stores. If you find an item you want but don't want to buy now, tap Save, and it will be saved in your shopping cart!
