Waze is an application that uses the driving routes of its users to calculate current traffic conditions. It was created in Israel by E. Shabtai, A.Shinar, and U. Levine, to increase driver safety and decrease drivers' travel time from road construction and other common obstacles.

Waze has recently undergone several funding rounds and has over 50 million users worldwide, making it one of the largest navigation systems available today. It's easy to install, intuitive to use, and free!

The latest Waze version makes saving time and avoiding traffic easier. The company has addressed an issue that prevented the right sound and voice options from being shown.

They have also added a Do not disturb option, which blocks notifications for 3 hours. There are also new icons, maps, and improved routing.

CONS

● It's possible that Waze could be a distraction for certain users, which is especially dangerous in heavy Traffic.

● It's not always convenient when the app suggests a route that takes you through a residential area.

● Waze's crowded map interface and confusing iconography make it a chore to use. This makes it more likely that the wrong button will be pressed, hence decreasing navigation speed.

● Battery life is significantly impacted when using Waze as opposed to Google Maps due to the fact that the software is always sending and reporting data to Waze regardless of whether or not it is actively navigating.

How to use it?

To use Waze Navigation & Live Traffic application, download the free application from the App Store or Google Play. Once you've opened it and signed in, you should connect your phone to our car via cable.

Once that is done, launch the Waze app and start driving to get live traffic updates. You can also add friends who are using Waze Navigation & Live Traffic as well.
