WhatsApp Messenger

WhatsApp Messenger is an application available in the App Store, Google Play, and on Windows Phone Store. It allows you to chat with your loved ones at no cost and on any device they might be using.

All that's needed to make your phone work with WhatsApp Messenger is an internet connection and a valid phone number from most countries around the world that already have access to WhatsApp Messenger.

Updates

The newest update to the popular messaging app is scheduled to roll out to beta users of Apple's iOS operating system in 2022. Once again, users will have access to the sender's profile photo in their notification badges. At some point, it will most likely be made mandatory for everyone.

Some further innovations include:

- Group admins can now delete other members' messages for everyone; If you leave a group, only the admins will know;

- the Calls tab now lets you generate and share a link for your WhatsApp call; and more. Whoever erased it will be visible to everyone else.

- You can now examine previews of links before clicking on them in Status.

- Status Reactions make it simple to share your thoughts on a friend's update.

 WhatsApp communications are fully encrypted. This ensures that only you and the recipient can read your messages.

 WhatsApp is ad-free. This improves messaging.

CONS

 Although there are Whatsapp stories, there aren't any face filters.

 The application doesn't have a built-in personal assistant.

 You cannot send self-destructing messages.

 WhatsApp's voice calling feature is currently unavailable in several regions. This could be really frustrating if you were hoping for a calling feature within your chat software.

 You can't transfer a 100 MB document or a 16 MB video clip using WhatsApp.
